Will LeBron James Get Pass the 2nd Round?
Lebron James is one of the greatest players to ever play. James has won three championships and has gone on to play in the Finals for six straight years (Four with the Miami Heat and three with the Cleveland Cavaliers). If Lebron James wants to make that seven straight, it’s going to be tough.
Lebron James and the Cavaliers are playing the Toronto Raptors in the 2nd Round of the NBA (National Basketball Association) playoffs. The Raptors are easily the favorites to win the series. With Kyle Lowry, DeMar Rozen, and the Raptors all rested up, they have to win. Well, I don’t think that’s the case. I would say that’s not a good at all. I believe momentum is huge in the NBA Playoffs so I would give the Cavaliers the edge on that one.
One advantage I would give to the Raptors is that they’re very well balanced. In Game 7, LeBron James basically carried the Cavs. Lebron James played 43 minutes and shooting 16-25 on the floor while the rest of the team played 197 minutes and shooting 16-49. LeBron James can get 50 points and the Cavs will still find a way to lose. How do you expect this bad Cavaliers team to have success against a team who shot for plus 54 from beyond the arch?
That brings me to another reason why it’s going to be tough to beat the Raptors. Their three-point shots have been excellent this year. The Raptors were plus 30 in three-pointers in the regular season. The Cavaliers net rating is at an all-time worst at -4.4. There’s no way the Cavaliers are going to have success against the Raptors.
As much as I would love to say that the Cavs are going to win the series, I don’t think that’s going to happen. LeBron James can’t keep winning games all by himself. I got the Toronto Raptors advancing to the next round beating the Cavs 4-1. Sadly, LeBron James’ Finals streak will end.
